Does the Trick - Unable to Locate Replacement Part

The coffee maker performs just fine. However due to long term some parts have reached their limit. I am unable to locate replacement parts, in particular the glass carafe. I have attempted to call KitchenAid but the wait time is over 15 minutes.

The only changes that I would make on this coffee maker would be an easier way to set the clock and automatic brewing cycle, and the proverbial problem with the pouring spout. Otherwise, I enjoy the experience in owning this product.

This product fits my needs

I am very happy with the replacement KCM1202. The previous I had problems with. The clock would run 5 minutes fast each day and I had to keep resetting time. The CLEAN light came on and I could not get to go off screen. The replacement KCM1202 has been perfect and makes a good cup of coffee with its features. Love the stainless steel design.

Got this replacement about a month or so...maybe longer... When I poor my first cup all is fine....the second cup about 2 times a week..comes out super hot!!!! And I like my coffee hot...but I am talkin HOT HOT HOT Twice the coffee would not go on...I played with the controls ...unpluged ect and it worked like nothing was wrong. I have been using KitchenAid for a long time howerer these last two pots...not so good...I know you have spoiled me in the past but guess not used to these problem.

I usually have great luck with kitchen aid. Not on this. first the clock doesn't keep time. it loses a couple minutes a day. returned the first one, second one was the same thing, probably have a dozen digital clocks in kitchen that all keep time correctly. second the basket is cheap and finickey.

Makes good coffee, had problems with first coffee maker and called Kitchenaid and they sent me a new one very quickly. Both coffee makers loose time on the clock, but this isn't a problem for me. Just adjust it weekly.

I bought this in September to replace a ten year old Black and Decker coffee maker. I wanted something high end and pretty and had to convince my husband that it was worth the money to get a Kitchenaid. By December the clock was losing time so the coffee wasn't ready when I got up. Then, it stopped working altogether two weeks ago. The pretty pony went in the trash and now an ugly Black and Decker workhorse is on the counter. I'm so disappointed in an expensive appliance with a quality name on it.

KitchenAid 12 Cup Coffee Maker

I am now 73 years old and found a very nice coffee maker. The large spout of the pot stops any spillage. Other pot I had before I always had to wipe up spills. Hansom, easy to use and I like the clock. Purchased at Walmart and I did not understand why it had a clearance price on it. Listed as regular price $89.95 clearance price of $49.00. Good for me, but why? Great product!!!!

Nice looking coffee maker and it works well. BUT..... (1) why is their no window showing water level in the front? That is in the back.... you know... the side that/s facing the wall. Yes, you can remove it to fill it, but then that's an extra step. (2) the basket that holds the coffee filter is a little awkward to insert---until after you figure it out. It's okay, but not intuitive. (3) Put the button to start?- No, push it twice--then it'll start? Why?? Makes good coffee though!

I bought this one month ago to replace a Krup coffee maker that I had for several years. I like the design and looks of the KitchenAid but the lids and plastic filter basket seem a bit flemsey. The on/off switch also seems a bit hesitant, sometimes I have to push it several times to get it to turn on.

I generally make 6 cups in the morning. When it's all said and done, I'm left with a very dark 4 cups because all of the other water has escaped in the form of steam! I have to add more water, which defeats the purpose of setting the timer, since I have to fix it. Also the clock seems to never keep the right time. Not sure what's up with that

Love this coffee maker but...

Be Careful.. FRAGILE

We bought this KitchenAid KCM111OB a few years ago because we were please with our KitchenAid Fridge, Dishwasher, Hand Mixer, and Stand Mixer K5SS. We used it primarily in the winter, always kept it clean with hand washing and descaling. Until a few months ago it made great coffee. I filled the coffee pot as usual and put it on our formica counter to check the level. When I lifted the pot the entire bottom of the glass pot burst off right at the bottom of the handle and I had 12 cups of water all over the place. I can't tell you why this happened but looking at the pieces, the glass looks awfully thin. Look at the picture and you can decide.

I bought this is November but by February had to return it because it turned itself on and heat plate would not shut off. Customer service was great to work with and sent a new one immediately. I love that my coffee is hot and it can be bold with the push of a button. I do not love that steam causes condensation to build at the controls. Maybe the control at the base would be better. Even with filing the pot to the maximum you do not get 12 cups as advertised. I still love Kitchen-Aid and my family has been a loyal customer since the early 50's.

Bad Clock Good Coffee Maker!

Messy Basket Overflows with Grinds

Horrible defective coffee maker DO NOT BUY

I bought this coffee maker a week ago from Walmart and after one brew it seemed fine so I STUPIDLY threw out the box and receipt. Them we used the auto brew for the next morning and i woke up to a pool of water on the counter and no water left to brew. I can see where it is leaking out the bottom of the tank in the back and I've tried to duct tape it and it doesn't fix it. The features seem really nice but since it doesn't work at all... It does not matter. I wish I could go back in time and not buy it. I should have saved the stupid receipt and box but it leaks over a period of about 10 minutes , so I didn't notice at first Unfortunately I spent the extra 60 bucks for this exact feature... I'm so mad. Im never buying anything from this brand again.

Clock doesn't keep time
